This is a great light. With the assist of the red LED the beam's tint is exquisite, and very bright, in a very small package -- lay it on a dollar bill and it fits within its perimeter. A bargain at the price.

6 XR-E Q5 @ 650mA: 13.77W, ~1032 emitter lumens + the red
6 XM-L T6 @ 650mA: 11.24W ~1568 emitter lumens + the red :D

The Mac's Sceptre is direct drive. Because of the low VF of XML, the current will be much larger than XR-E.
