Fenix lens rotating

I have a Fenix P1 that I bought for about 20 bucks plus shipping, which IMO was a pretty good deal, about four months ago.

Anyways, I noticed that I can rotate the lens with my finger somewhat easily.

I know it will not fall out anytime soon, but is it being able to be waterproof now void?

I only ask because as I like to be nonchalant in my bragging :thumbsup: I dipped the P1 in my friend's water glass while on to show that besides the awesome amount of light it puts out it is also waterproof.

When I pulled it out however, I noticed later the tiniest amount of water vapor inside the flashlight.

When I got home I stuck it in some rice and the problem was solved.

My question is there any way to possibly to fix it or am I stuck with a now 'slightly waterproof' Fenix P1? And should I be concerned that it may now fall out?

it sounds like the oring could possibly be missing?

If there is water vapor past the lens then it isn't waterproof any more. Thus, I wouldn't think of dunking it any more.

Yes, maybe you have lost the oring .Usually it's waterproof!

They're usually glued, but see if your head cap is loose.

What do you mean by head cap being loose?

If it's an o-ring from above the lens that fell out, could I buy one and use some precision skills (dab of super glue) to put it back on?

The head cap or bezel, as some would call it, has the reflector screwed into it. The reflector screws up against the lens to hold it tight. Here's some pics.
