Hi Dave,

"Shimmed for maximum Throw"

In which head?

Also...there's a discrepancy in the 3-level descriptions. The header says 4-14V but the descriptions say 3.6-6V.

Hi Dave,
This tower module is used in Surefire KT4 head, right?
BTW, the beamshot did not tell much difference of the tint.
IMHO, you could keep consistency of shutter speed, aperture, white balance and ISO setup when you take the picture.

Will these fit an E2e?

No sorry

The only way you could use one with an E2e is by using adapters to fit the E2e body to a C or M series head. It can be done, but it looks awkward.

HI Donn

The beam shots were taken in a KT5 but they are great in a KT4 also. If anything they are a tighter beam in the Kt4

What you see is what you get, I have a cheap 2 megapixel set on auto. The 4000 and 5000 are much like a Q45B on steroids. The 3000 k is much more incan like, it looks like a typical high CRI led a bit on the amber side compared to the rosy side that some crees are.

I'll take this one

Oscar got the one built up but I will be glad to build up another for you to ship early in the week.

Hi Dave,
Sorry to ask about the noob questions:
(1)What's the correlated color temperature (CCT) of XP-G R5 flux WD tint and XP-E R3 Flux WM tint?

(2)For emitters' CCT between 4000k~5000k, which has the most flux,
XP-E R3 Flux WM tint, XP-G R3 Flux 1C tint or XP-G R2 flux 3B tint 3?

(3)Is it possible to build a module with 4-14v and 3 modes?

In the manner of fact, I am looking for mudule with most flux, around 4000k~5000k CCT, regulated, 4-14v, 3 modes (1 mode is also accepted). Any suggestion?
I guess I ask too much :ohgeez:
Thanks a lot~

Hi Dave,
Sorry to ask about the noob questions:
(1)What's the correlated color temperature (CCT) of XP-G R5 flux WD tint and XP-E R3 Flux WM tint?

http://www.cree.com/products/pdf/XLampXP_B&L.pdf

This should give you what you want. I don't know the CCT of those two if I had to guess I would say the XPE WM as WD is closer to 65oo. The chart should tell you what you need to know.

(2)For emitters' CCT between 4000k~5000k, which has the most flux,
XP-E R3 Flux WM tint, XP-G R3 Flux 1C tint or XP-G R2 flux 3B tint 3?

I don't understand what you are asking they are listed by flux as you can see the highest flux are the 2 R3 that you have listed. I don't think you asked what you really want but hopefully you can find it in the binning charts. That chart covers all XP series. These are plain listed by flux, the R3 XPE is cool white as is the R5 the rest are listed by flux and color temp so I am not sure what you are after. :D

(3)Is it possible to build a module with 4-14v and 3 modes?

In the manner of fact, I am looking for mudule with most flux, around 4000k~5000k CCT, regulated, 4-14v, 3 modes (1 mode is also accepted). Any suggestion?

No levels are in 6 volts max.

I guess I ask too much :ohgeez:
Thanks a lot~

Quick question. Will this work in a stock M4? Thanks!

If you are talking about a Z46 non turbo head then no they will not work in those but my D36 modules will work but have to be installed from bezel end.

If you mean the M4 turbo which is a KT4 then yes but not the one that also goes on M3 as that is a Z46 i believe.

Hi All

I only built one of each of these modules to test the waters. I will gladly build up more and should be able to ship within three working days of Paypal or Money Order.

SST series leds will not fit no need to ask.

At this time I will use XPE/ XPG in bins and temps offered above.
I will consider P4 which I stock in most temps but please PM for those details.

I also am only offering in the following drivers and that is all.

1 level 4-14 volts
1 level 3.6-6 volts

3 levels 3.6-6 volts

I have these drivers stocked and should fit most circumstances.

Thanks and have a great weekend

Dave
