Arc AAA solder question

i've used my ARC LE so much my positive contact has worn down considerably. since i don't know much about soldering what type of solder should i use and how much to restore the contact. i think i've used it every day for about a year now. love this light.

I'd use rosin core solder, available at radio shack and hardware stores. Basically, you just heat what's already there and touch the fresh solder to the blob. Only a tiny bit is needed. If you need a new foam ring, send a SASE to Arc for free ones.
