Ok my apologies up front if this is not in the right format or if this has been posted before. I've been reading CPF for a long time and finally signed up so this is one of my first real posts. That aside - does anyone have any experience using a Lumens Factory drop in LED's in a weaponlight?
The combination in mind would be a D26 3.7 Volt LED in a SureFire Scout powered by a Pila 600S. This would be attached to AR in 5.56. Is the LED by virture of it's desing going to hold up to recoil? Will the batteries hold up as well. This XR-E LED has a fair amount of throw and decent spill and if it can hold up should make a good drop in for the Scout with the LU60 (M2 bezel).
