Quark Tactical

My Quark 123^2 Tacticool came in the mail today.

Currently I have it on Tightened / High, Loosened / Medium,

What is everyone else using? I was thinking about Tightened / Max, but I don't want to have to recharge the batteries every time I use the light.

I have mine set to High/Low normally. I prefer this for daily use and for hiking.

If I expect to need it to be dimmer (theatre, nice restaurant) I'll set Moonlight to loose and if

I have it on my bike I have it set to Turbo/High.

I love being able to reprogram it whenever I like.

I also have grown fond of the Tactical UI, so easy and quick to adapt to any situation.

i use turbo and medium...buy more batteries if rechargeables are what you're using. thats the whole point. even if you have to recharge frequently you'll still be able to have a fresh pair on hand. 90% of the time i use mine on turbo and am happy w/ the battery life...XP-Gs are pretty miserly when it comes to consumption.

I program mine two or three times a week depending on what I'm doing.

Walking at night: Tightened = Max, Loosened = High

Waking up at night: Tightened = Med, Loosened = Low

Using for work: Tightened = High, Loosened = Med
