Novatac Classic and HDS body

I just got a Novatac Classic and an old HDS CR123 body. The classis works just like the manual says. When I put the head on the HDS body, it comes on for a second (looks like medium mode) then goes off.

Any idea how to get this to work?

Okay, I'm retarded. Inside the head of the Novatac, there are 4 rings (the outer one is really hard to see). If you have the HDS body with the two wires rather than the spring, you must extend these wires so that they make contact with the third (not the outer) ring. Also, the spring in the bottom of the body is a bit long. This works better if you trim it a little.
