Up for sale, is the the light on the left:

  • Red Mag 1185 set-up in a Mini Hot wire format
  • 1185 bulb in FM bi pin adaptor, ~1300 bulb lumens
  • Aluminum heat sink plate to spread heat to the body & hold back the bulb socket for optimal focus
  • Metal OP reflector
  • Red mag 1.25D cut down host in great condition
  • Brand new head, no dings on body, small dings on tail cap.
  • Grooved Body for better grip
  • Mag tube has been Tri Bored for 3x17670
  • Including 3 17670 Li-ion batteries
  • Including a DIY 3x17670 battery holder, cut, elongated & modified from kai 3xAA holder with copper plates for handling of high current, not pretty like the FM battery holder but works like a champ.
It requires 2-3 soft click (to warm the filament) followed by a hard click to turn on.
This is a Turn Key package for the legendary Mag 85 in a very compact size.

Back for Sale with a price drop to $145.
This is my last hot wire, going all out into LEDs, goodby incans.

Here is a photo next to the MagDragon:

I take it the 17670 cells are not AW brand?
Would an FM Batt holder with AW Protected 17670's work with this set-up?
Do you have the Finned and Fluted head that you would be willing to sell with this?
Thanks,

Battery is not AW,
FM/AW will fit.

Fined head not for sale.

Re: Reduced: Mag 1185 mini hotwire Turn Key 1300 lumens

Take $20 off if you don't need the DIY battery holder & xxFire 17670,

Only $135 for those who already have FM battery Holder/AW batteries etc.
& just want the light.

Re: Reduced: Mag 1185 mini hotwire Turn Key 1300 lumens

Fresh Price drop.

$135 for Turn Key & only $115 W/o battery & holder.

No love for 1185 anymore? You won't be able to put the host together for this price!

mag 1D will cost $60, Tri Bore $30, Grove body $30.
That's $120 already before the FM bi pin holder, 1185 bulb, reflector etc. comes in.

A FM battery holder will set you back for a good $48 + shipping.

If you never had the legendary Mag85, you don't want to miss this.
It's a steal & not one of those done on bulky 3D mags.
