I am not looking to buy yours, but I was wondering what the hot spot size difference is between the 90 and 50.

well i would say 20 % or so the 50 is very tight i believe the 50 is direct drive and the 90 is direct drive, the 90 just throws a massive beam just not as tight from a noob crappers opinion. jv

20% bigger or smaller? In area or diameter? I am familiar with the p60 differences, but not the d36. Also, I have never seen an sst-50 that I would consider "very tight", so I am not sure what you are comparing them to.

D36 SST50 in a SMO reflector has a huge hotspot 3 feet wide and 10 yards. It throws very well with lot of flood very well balanced beam.The 90 I dont have yet will have in a few days though.However this 50 setup is very hard to beat and very usable.It definitely outperforms the P60 all the way around by a whole lot.
