It's been awhile since I posted anything new. I've been pretty busy with family matters lately but in what little time I've had to work in the shop I managed to turn out a custom light for a fellow CPF'er. Since it was a total custom job I first started with a aluminum prototype before committing to titanium. The goal was a multi-level SST-50 using an 18650 and 27mm reflector. I ended up using one of Shining Star's 3-level drivers and designed a can that is very similar to the one that Mac is using in his lights. I however used an SST on a star rather than an emitter. All in all I think it came out very nice. I hope the owner will be happy with it.

Here are some pictures from prototype to titanium light. I will probably get some better pictures when the light is right.

Friggin Beautiful! I bet more than a handleful of CPF'ers would be up for something like this. Any hopes for a small production run?

Wow that's perfect.

I'd be happy owning one of those in aluminum.

Any idea on the overall length ?
