As the very informative thread stickied in this forum will attest, there are a large number of excellent P60 drop-ins currently available. I'm wondering if any of the most reliable ones are especially well suited for use with a stock Surefire M2 (a more recent production unit with the shock isolated bezel). Only one or two modes are necessary with throw being preferred to flood. A neutral tone would be great as well. I ask only because I've heard that there can occasionally be some compatibility issues with the shock isolated bezel.

Its best suited for medium output modules. The shock isolation foam inside the bezel traps heat. It also blocks about ~15% of the side flood.

IMHO its best used with incans.

I like the look of the older M2 bezels. Thought about whether a larger reflector and LED could be stuffed into an M2 without the shock rings....
