Help,which 5 watter?(L4, Blaster VI, Megalite HD)

I'm foaming at the mouth for a five watter but I can't decide.(I know, Iknow buy them all, cant afford that right now.) Any info on these three lights would be great. Where will my hard earned cash be best spent?

My choice would be the L4, but I just prefer smaller size

wait, the megalite is the Maglite modified with the 5W HD, correct?

I built one in a Mag 2D, with NiMH 6AA's, using Elektrolumen's kit with 30mm optic. Nice and bright, good overall light, cheap to run, but I'm waiting for the next "big advance" before I buy a factory made 5 watter. The L4 seems nice, but I hear it runs too hot, and battery life is not too good. For now, if I want to carry small, my E2e/KL1 is good enough.

Having all 3 of them, I am most impressed with Megalite's throw, brightness and whiteness. The SF L4 and EL Blaster VI all seem too green comparing to the Megalite.

Robk -- how do you hold the 30mm optic onto the LED? Did you fashion some sort of optics holder?
