Got a 3D Maglite in jade and didn't know what to do with it so I modded it with a neutral XP-G I got lying around. As I don't have a use for this one it has to go. The host is brandnew. You can use it with 3x NiMhs or 3x Alkalines as I used a linear-driver. You can also use a single Li-Ion but that would be just a waste of space ;). It only has one mode. The emitter is driven at 1400mA so it puts out about 420 bulb-lumens. The beam is pretty nice as I used an OP reflector. Just compared it to my P7 Maglite and it looks just slightly dimmer. I think I have to mod my 2C Maglite with a neutral XP-G ;).

Here are the parts I built it with:

  • XP-G R4-bin 5B1-tint
  • AMC7135 1400mA linear driver
  • DHS heatsink
  • Aluminium OP reflector
  • Multilayer-coated glass lens

The price is SOLD (60€ shipped in the EU).

I am not responsible for lost package. Postal insurance is optional and will cost a little bit more. Paying through Paypal is fine. Just write 'I'll take it' and I'll contact you.

For international buyers just send me a PM and we can arrange something ;).

When you have some questions just ask me.

That would make 7 hours runtime on 3 10,000 mAh cells, right?

How is the color of the Jade compared to other MagLite colors? it seems to me it's one of those colors that really don't look well on a LCD.

How does it compare to a standard MagLED Rebel?

I just calculated it. You get a little bit more than 6 hours of runtime with 3x 10Ah NiMHs. It's pretty hard to get a good picture of this color ;). I bought it here, there is a pretty good picture of the color. This Maglite has about 420 bulblumens. I compared it to my P7 Maglite with SWO-tint and outside it even seems brigther ;).

I'm away until Tuesday with my university so I can answer as early as Wednesday.
