Can Surefire G2 LED feed on 2xRCR123 or similar?

yes it can.

both 17670s, and r123As (assuming you're using the P60L)

the P60L can take up to 9V iirc.

csshih has got it. Assuming you have the stock LED module in there, it's fine to run on 2x RCR123. Surefire may not condone it, but you'll be fine.

Just to further elaborate....
The P60L is standard in the 9PL (3xCR123). So its designed to handle 9V. Its perfectly stable with 8.4V
