Sold/Expired SOLD: P7 D Maglite 'Drop-In'

As I'm converting my Maglite to a SST-50 I'm selling my P7 drop-in. I used it a little bit, in total for about an hour. The P7 is a DSWOI which I glued on an anodized DHS heatsink. The driver is the new single-mode driver from 'Der Wichtel'. More specs about it can be read here in his sale thread. I soldered it toghether with black teflon wiring. You just have to connect the GND and the VIN to your Maglite switch.

will this drop in work in a 2D maglite? presume it is possible as there is a (high quality) driver?

Sure it will, I used it in mine. But you have to use either 2x Li-Ions or a 6AA>2D battery adapter as you need a minimum input voltage of 4.2V. It is indeed a really high quality driver. 'Der Wichtel' is now developing and building drivers for a long time. And this one is his latest P7 driver.
