Does anybody have an experience with a Novatac Special OPS ?

I have some questions

Will two LiIon 16340 with fresh charged 8,4V fry the driver?

Does a single 17670 LiIon fit? I dont ask if it will work this is not important 'cause I have many "normal" Novatac heads to screw on.

Does it have a spring inside? (I wonder how Novatac managed the current transmission, the "old" 17670 tubes, have a much bigger diameter)

I'd be glad if anybody could give me an answer...

Just received mine today. Gun metal color. Yes, there is a spring inside. Have not tried 2xRCR123 but a 17670 fits and works fine. The 17670 is not a tight fit, it can still slide in/out the spring just fine. A 18650 is too big to fit. The threads on the body/head is the same as the Novtac 120p/t so you can play legos. The reflector looks really ugly with rings, although the beam is pretty smooth.
