Hi all LIGHT IS SOLD! Thanks.

Up for sale is my latest creation. Its a 3AA minimag LED converted to a P7.

The light is DD with a resistor installed in the tailcap to limit the current to around 2A. The on/off is still the twisty head. The emitter is a CSWNI.

The emitter is soldered directly to a brass pill.

Here is a shot of a standard 2AA minimag led.

P7 minimag

It is important that you use the tail cap provided with the light because the emitter is an "I" bin, so a resistor has been added to control the current. The light is powered by 3 NIMH AA cells. I recommend letting the cells rest for at least a couple hours after charging before use in the light. Also while the heat sinking in this light is "relatively" good I don't recommend using it in candle mode ie with the head off.

Price is 65$ shipped SOLD!

Re: FS: P7 minimag

I wish I could say the words, but I need a new pistol light.

Nevertheless, incredible. My bet is when the sun rises it wont take long for someone to grab it.

Good luck

Wow, thanks everyone for you kind words.

I worked hard on this, and it took a few tries to get it right, but I am glad it worked out.

Nice, I think I'm going to copy you on this. Except my initial plan was to use a single 14500 battery and lathe off and re thread half of the battery tube.

How did you manage to preserve the twisty on/off? My plan was to use a terralux minimag tailcap clicky.

Thanks. Maybe if you cut down a minimag for me to 1AA size I will tell you how to do the twisty head.:D:poke:.
