I am looking at a streamlight task light locally in town. There are several models in stock (2d/3c/3aa). How are these guys? How do their brightness compare to a stinger? They do not look regulated... I wonder what kind of performance I will get with nimh cells as far as brightness goes. Finally, I have not handled one yet, so can someone tell me how the switch works (having 2 sets of bulbs).
