Hello,

I just purchased at Walmart the November issue of Combat Tactics. It is presented by Surefire and published by Guns&Ammo.

Just want you Surefire fans to know its an awesome mag; 162 pages of all Surefire lights and nighttime tactics to use for self defense.

Pretty cool!!

I've never seen that mag...It's probably one of the Guns and Ammo series mags. If I track some down, I'll buy a few, and spread the wealth to those across the water...

Better rip off the front cover with the words "Guns and Ammo" if ya want any chance of it making into the UK.

(or maybe is it just Australia's prehistoric stance against firearms?!)

Yes, it has a picture of a Ar15 with multiple lights and a laser.

Also, has a great article by Dr. John Matthews (founder and president of Surefire) called The Language of Light.

On a totally unrelated topic: If Fry's would hire me to take care of their flashlight aisle then it would be a great place for CPFers to shop!

For anyone close to a Border's Books...they have them. BTW, it's really a GREAT publication!!

If your Border's alphabetizes the magazines, don't look in the "Cs"...it's in the Gun section of course!

Whoa! Just got this mag, and man is it cool!
It is kind of like a big surefire advertisement.
It even has an article by Massad Ayoob about
some real life low light shootings. Cool!

I got my hands on 2 of these so if anyone wants me to send them one, let me know. Preferably to outside the country since they are available here in the US. First e-mail from outside the country get it. I'm going to see if I can find any more of these tonight.I'll pick up all I can find for those outside the US. I think it's $8 a copy.
