My SL US arrived

I gave the US a quick 2.5 hr charge and boy oh boy what a light. Last night there was a full moon and I was still able to throw a beam out to 200yds. with plenty of spill light. I can imagine what this thing will do when there is no moon, probably 250 - 300yds. Bear in mind this is not going to be used as a tactical light but one just to run my dogs at night with. So hot spots and other jargon was not an issue with me on this pick of a light. I was looking for a light that could throw and this US can certainly throw...

I have the Stinger XT and XT HP and they are both good lights except the HP has some artifacts and rings. Disappointing. The XT has a perfect beam.
