Does anyone have a recommendation for a drop-in forward clicky to replace the standard Surefire 6Z twist tailcap? I'm replacing the incandescent bulb with a 3 mode P60 LED and would like a clicky switch that will allow me to access the various modes. Thanks for your input.

Most 6Z tailcaps I have seen are the pre lockout version. These are identified by the "laser products" inscribed on the bottom, into a thinner rim than is found on the current Z41 tailcap. If this is your tailcap, your next option is to replace the tailcap with Z59 or an upgraded current Z41.

FYI: you should still be able to access the modes with your current tailcap. Say you want to advanced 2 'steps' just momentary once, then twist on.

ElectronGuru,

Thanks for the info. I noticed on your website that you sell a Nitrolon tailcap with the McClicky installed already. Do you have one that's installed already in an aluminum tailcap?
