I own only 2 lights: Ultra-G and InRetech 2AA. I am about to buy a bb400.
- How wide is the McFlood beam compared to an Ultra-G?
- About the mineral glass lens: does this work with the Inretech 2AA also? The instructions tell to remove the lens and replace it with the optic, which looks like a NX05 to me. I'm a bit confused here, do I need a lens with my Inretech? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

And an Ultra.

This might not be the best comparison but it will give you an idea of the difference.

The lens should work with any modded mini-Mag or Brinkmann Legend.
I've not seen an Inretech adaptor yet, though.

The way it works with MadMaxes & BadBoys, is the lens goes into the head, then an O-ring, then the colimator. You then screw the head into the lens retaining collar.

If you buy a turnkey light from Inretech, it ships with the optic installed without a lens in front, much like the arc. It works just fine like this. If you back the head off a bit, you'll see there is enough space there to slip a mineral glass lens in, though. You can do it either way.
