Hey CPF,

Looking for an aluminum/nickel PD piston with trit slot and/or tritium already installed. This is to replace the brass piston in my McGizmo PD-S.

Bezel Found!
Might also be interested in a Ti or Al bezel with or without trit slots as well.

Let me know if you have any of this stuff available. Thanks!

Re: WTB: Alum PD Piston (slotted) + Ti Bezel (slotted), Ti Clip

A little bumparoo. No one out there with a PEU bezel or Arc6/PD piston?

The PEU bezel was SS, not Ti, I don't think there is a Ti slotted bezel.

Thanks F250! I didn't know that. I'll edit my post.

Sorry ninemm, I already sold both of my aluminum slotted pistons.

That's okay fyrstormer. What's funny is when I saw your thread I thought "Oh, that's a pretty piston, but I won't own a McGizmo for years." I should have known it would be mere weeks until I found one. Thinks happen very fast around here. :grin2:

If you can't find one anywhere else, you can buy a battery tube from Arc ($50) and a trit from B@rt, and send them to someone to have the trit installed with Norland. I have the stuff to do it for you, obviously, since I made the two pistons I sold, but I don't have any more pistons or trits on-hand.

Maybe someone here already has one built, though. That would be easiest.

That piston price is pretty steep from Arc. I would probably just send my stock piston to get slotted before buying one. Thanks for letting me know about my options. I definitely thought someone would have stopped by with a piston or bezel by now.

To the top. Anybody have a spare slotted piston to unload?

Your best bet would be to have your stock piston slotted by someone like jhanko, who does a quite a bit of trit slot milling.

Yep, that is definitely the route I will go if one doesn't surface. Just since I EDC the light I was hoping to shed a few ounces in the process.
