(CLOSED) Bi-Pin Socket For MN Lamp Assembly (5th Run)
Here are some more innovation from Fivemega. Improved 5th run of first run and second run and 3th run.
Nickel plated Bi pin High-Temp socket for MN series turbo head bulb. Will fit M6, M4, M3T and all after market "M" head bodies.
Simply insert a G4 bi pin bulb such as Welch Allyn on this socket which matches your battery voltage and use it as MN lamp assembly. No further modification needed.
A very tiny set screw will secure bulb from falling off. Please tighten set screw VERY VERY VERY GENTLY. Overtightening will cause pinching bulb pin, bulb will stock in socket and void warranty of socket. A very tiny allen wrench (0.028") will be included.
Best bulbs to work with M6 original battery configuration or this or 2S/2P 14670 set up is WA1111 and WA1274 available here
Possible to use with CL1057 or WA1111 in M4 using 2 AW's new 17670
However, there are many other bulbs to work with this socket such as WA1185 (available here) when using 3x17670 battery holder in M6.
Also using 2x26500 with WA1274 is an smart choice.
It is highly recommended to center bulb to get best beam shape. I will include some shims to adjust bulb fillament height.
Center positive spring is softer than 1st and second run.
What you get here in this thread is socket with installed springs, 0.028" allen wrench and shims.
NO BULB, NO FLASHLIGHT, NO HEAD, NO BATTERIES and NO CHARGER included or offered here.
I also have some extra soft/short negative spring if you prefer so and can be easily exchange.
