Please excuse me if this has been asked before but is there such a thing? are they readily available? I seem to remember that the L4 comes with a clickie tailpack but can you buy them on their own?

The E2o and the E1e already have clickies, and the E2e should have them very soon. I bought an E2e a couple of weeks ago that didn't have it, but it was probably the last of them. Surefire is phasing the Z57 clicky into all of its E series lights.

the best way (in my opinion) to do it is to mod your own with a kroll
don has a page on it somewhere, but i was unable to find it when i went to perform the mod, so my design is slightly different than his. i believe done bored out the retainer of the cap (i believe...) whereas i got around this by adding an epoxy drop to the top to engage the rubber at the right point.

I bought some L4 clickies from Dan @ Tactical Warehouse.
You might want to give him a call & see if he has any.
He has been selling L4 heads & clickies as well as E1e
parts. I think you know that L4 & E2e parts interchange.
