I've never handled a t10, but it is fairly common for most LED lights to get warm on the high mode. It's probably nothing to worry about. How many lumens is the high mode?

My 2008 T10 gets warm on high on a primary cr123. That model puts out about 180 emitter lumens. The newer XPG versions I think put out about 250 or 300 emitter lumens, so I would imagine those would get even warmer.

Nothing to worry about, I think.

But don't leave it on on high unattended....
