Ultimate (2) AA flashlight: Best model&mod for the $

Loads of great info here but I'm looking for a prove win here. Trying to get ideas on the best flashlight that can hold 2 AA batteries. I'm looking for the model to buy and the modifcation proven for the specific flashlight. Nothing insane, just the best bang for my dollar. Looking for the 200+ lumen range and run time is not as important. Just water/shock proof. I've read some great concepts, working projects, etc. This post is respectfully for proven combos on (2) AA flashlights and mods that can be done.
