Eight 123\'s for $1.00

Yep that's right. My wife went to a local "Dirt Cheap" store today and found 8 123's for one dollar. The batteries were loose in a big box with all other kinds. She had 6 Energizers and 2 Duracells.I checked the voltage, two batts. were below 2.8 volts and six were over 3.2 volts.

I'm sending here back tomorrow.

PS: what could I store the batteries in so they won't loose any more voltage??

Just cello-tape the ends, and they won't lose any voltage for a long time, -especially if you're storing them loose
in a drawer.

Also at any ambient temperature less than 100° F, and they should be fine. :>)

p.s.-what expiration date do they have on them?
