Pictured is my Dual XP-G R5 Solarforce L2p ..

Basically , took two emitters , cut the base/star next to the emitter so that I could get the two emitters as close together as possible ..

I kept + and - on the same side so I could bridge them , but I had a lot of problems with shorting , and it took a few tries to get it right , just glad I didnt blow anything .

There is not much throw to speak of , its all flood and gives a SSC P7 a run for its money . Very nice set up , especially if you like flood [ throw lovers will hate it ] and it lights up the yard like a champ . I will have to take it somewhere dark to see how it compares to a single XP-G R5 emitter .

The pill is one of the new SSC P7 ones from KD , and it has a Ebay 5 mode driver . The two XP-G R5's were from cutter .

Nice build you got there yet similar to NB's linger special. Does your beam smooth or have a donut hole just like linger?

You have the Solarforce lantern head, don't you?

I have a linger special in my lantern head, and it's absolute magic.

Up to 200 lumens, the lantern just doesn't seem that great.

500+ Lumens and it really works!

Two small dark spots in the middle , so maybe like a doughnut , but only there in low mode , medium and high they vanish .

2 Lantern Heads now
