Hi All!

Can someone please advise on whether it is OK to use re-chargeable CR2 cells in a Quark Mini Cr2? I am thinking of using some cells from Dealextreme which are rated at 3.0Volts 800mA so my thinking/assumption is that they should be OK for all levels inclusive of HIGH.

Your expert input would be appreciated.

yes. i have these cells and use them in my other CR2 powered light.

Edit: once the light starts to dim, its time to recharge, do not OVER discharge these cells as they are not protected.

Using rcr2 3.7v on mine. But mostly set to low and medium and ocassionally short burst on high.. And still good up to now but i'll try that 3.0v sometime as hyperloop said.

The topic is specific to the Quark Mini, so I'm not moving it to the Batteries section as the title might indicate, but I'll move it from General to LED Flashlights.

hyperloop's advice above is good.
