Questions for you pros about the surefire series of 8X rechargeable flashlights.

1. What is the amp rating of the B90 cells? Currently, one can get Nickel Hydride sub-C in at least 3 amp rating which should then give well over an hours of light, I presume. Plus these are more durable than Ni-Cads which Surefire uses in terms of memory.

2. Is the 8X really 110 lumens? It it noticeably brighter than the 6P which I don't have? Read that some think they are about the same brightness, plus the 8X is yellower. I have no basis for comparison.

3. What is the rated bulb life for the 8X in terms of hours?

4. With the latest AA rechargeable cells at 2amp ratings, it seems that someone should consider doing 3AA cells side by side using a lamp module similar to the 8X. It would be a much shorter flashlight with equal power and similar runtime?

THanks in advance to you pros!
