I posted a little review with pics yesterday of my Military Anglehead I picked up at "Command Post".

It had a decent spot beam, but awfully yellow!

I stuffed 3C in it expecting it to "poof". It got quite a bit brighter.

On a whim, I pulled the bulb. It is marked PR6CHINA. My Ratshack catalog has nothing numbered like that.

Anyhow I stuck a 2.4v .85a bulb in the light, and put 2D back. Now it is just as bright as 3C with that pr6 (whatever the hell it is!)

I shall try and get a pic or three up.

I have never heard of PR6. Another strange designation is the koehler-Brightstar LED-PR4. It is for 4 cells, unlike the PR4 incan bulb which is for 2 cells. I put one of those LED-PR4 bulbs in my Tec 40 (both bought at same time and place - brightguy).
