Looks interesting, I'm guessing its an MC-E based light. What cell type does it use?

Manufacturer's official website:
http://www.favourlight.com/

It is a little overpriced imho ,and its construction is quite poor .99% percent the lens are made from plastic, poor heat anticipation etc..

I have not that light but I have another made by the same company.Shop around before buying one as B+Q are doing some plus many trade counters like Arco do the brand, some are known as Flair-AP Pro-Active.

I bought a 120 lumen double AA cell, very rugged and a nice light, there little key chain light is a real steal, retails at about £6 but often can be found for a £ in close out stores, bright and has press on stay on switch.

Before snagging one watch for Tesco sales offers days when they go silly low on prices.

Meh. The itp A6 Polestar is about 80 bucks, uses 6xAAs and hits 700 lumens.

Using D cells is nice because no need for a battery pack. However it is only 6 volts (vs 9 volts for 6xAAs in series) which I am not sure would be enough to really power the MC-E at 2.5 Amps.

Also the Polestar would be a heck of a lot lighter and more compact as its only 9 inches long or so. It fits nicely in hand. It is also pretty well received, is waterproof, hardware anodized, glass lens, decently built, etc. Also 3 brightness levels and strobe.
