Being able to cook eggs on the lens - wow - thats some heat. Expected run time of about 10 minutes isnt too good though!

There is pretty much ALWAYS a more powerful torch. There are tons of homebrews that blow past these and manufacturers make specialty lighting devices for the military,etc that continue to surpass older models.

I was reading about an 18,000 lumen homebrew flashlight that uses 8 18650 batteries, 8 SST-90s at about 9 amps each!

This is why I have joined here - to learn that there is more to a torch than buying one and sticking batteries in.

What sorta heat do these mega torches generate? Must be phenomenal!

Last time I saw a "The Torch" on the BST, nobody wanted to buy it for a long time... :shakehead

That thing is for showing off cooking eggs, but there are better ways to cook eggs!
