I think you may be in the minority my friend.

I use and compare two or more flashlights all the time. Particularly when I go camping/hiking I have at least 3 flashlights and a headlamp on me. Different beams, different designs, different purposes. That's how I see it.

I had two E2DL heads. I had MIK do a toothless mod on the one with the slighty inferior beam, then lego'd it with an E2E body and tailcap, and gave it to my niece, so there would be no possible issues with her ever carrying it on a plane. The lego was so far beyond anything she would ever own, that I didn't really feel guilty gifting it. Other than that, I don't think I have any duplicates, just too many individual examples.

Ive used my Blaster and Malkoff mag together simply because I could. One with throw, one a wall of light, together giving me all I needed.
