My hat\'s off to our LEO\'s
I was watching TV with my wife tonight, something I don't do very often as I suffer from OAM syndrome (Over-Active Mind syndrome, it fouls my ablility to concentrate on the tube) and we were watching "COPS" on Court-TV and it occurred to me that I definitely would have a bit of trouble walking the thin blue line these folks walk on a daily basis, in the interest of public service (has to be an interest as the pay and hours aren't exactly Ideal) I would rather serve in the military in a completely foreign environment than to serve on the very streets in which I reside (blah!). Anyway I just want to put that out there and to say a hearty THANKS! You folks have to deal with the same office beaurocratic and social bs we all do and on top of that you have to deal with a generally hostile public, society's dysfunctional members, mentally challenged individuals lapsing on their meds and violent criminals in a consistently dangerous function on top of all that! Bless you all!
