so i have a supertac mounted on my Ar15. its a great light for what i need it for. but streamlight only offers a tape switch that is momentary on.

surefire offers a switch that has both momentary and constant on, that can be rail mounted.

so my question, what other brand end caps fit and function on a streamlight supertac, if any?

id REALLY prefer not to have to buy both switches and splice them together.

any help would make life easier..

I have a Sreamlight Supertac, not sure if it's same as yours, tail clicky. It's solid on only, 135 lumens, cr123 batteries. You tape the switch to keep it in the on position?

no, they make a "tape" switch, which is a little wire that comes off the back, to a pressure pad, to momentarily turn the light on and off. but once you remove your hand from the switch, its out. the normal tail cap has momentary and constant, by pressing it in slightly, or pushing it into a click.

surefire has a tape switch that has momentary and constant...
i was hoping to find the same for the supertac.
