SOLD: PAR36 4.5" Stainless Steel Turn Key hot wire with 4509Q ~130W.

I am usually a LED guy, This light was inspired by the FM PAR36 head:

Light FS is a complete Turn Key PAR36 Sealed Beam package.
The only thing you need to supply is 4xAW IMR 26500 batteries.

  • Vintage Stainless Steel flashlight with 4.5" PAR36 Head.(Not FM head, the Host came with a 4.5" PAR36 head)
  • Completely re-built switch & contact mechanism
  • Installed a section of Mag D tube that has been machined down to fit inside the vintage tube to host the Switch from Mag D.
  • Mag D switch with resistance mod, copper contact for battery
  • 18AWG Teflon Copper wires to hook up the lamp
  • PVC battery sleeve for 4xAW IMR 26500
  • 4509Q quartz halogen PAR36 Aircraft 100w landing bump included
  • Driven to 16.6v ~8Amp, I.E. ~130W.
For a Vintage light, it is in super excellent shape, because it's made out of stainless steel.

For beam shot vs. Mag 1185 on FM deep reflector, see Luxluthor's testing here:

Asking $169. Turnkey with lamp, battery not included.

USA only. Two PP/shipping options:
Shipping & Insurance using PP gift option: $15 or
Ship, Insurance/PP fee using PP goods: $22

Size comparasion to Mag 2D.

Front view of the lamp, which is brand new.

The opposite side of the Mag switch, I left the stock switch alone.
It doesn't function, just a decorative piece to retain the vintage look.

nice, how does it compare to your franken magdaddy? does the thinner host body heat up much when run or does most of the heat stay towards the bulb?

Hi, This light has more Lumens 130W vs MagDaddy ~105W.
The MagDaddy will still throw further because it's much bigger lamp diameter almost 6".

The heat is concentrated at the bulb & head, does not go down to the tube much.

The stock light tail cap says HPICO, MADE IN USA.

That's all I know about it. Don't know model # or how old etc.
