So I ran out of beer tonight...

And i had a chilled bottle of UV Vodka that was some flavor of lemonade...pink at that.

So, not having anything besides Berry Gatorade to mix it with, and really needing a buzz for this busted toe I have, I mixed up a strong one, and ya know what? It tastes pretty damn good.

So, what are your secret "git 'r dun" concoctions?

Mine? well it depends on what is in the house, but UV pink lemonade vodka and Gatorade is doing just fine right now.

I once drank most of a fifth of vodka, trying to kill a toothache, and the only thing I had to mix it with was root beer...tasted horrible, but it did get the job done. :sick2:

Remember that a doctor will prescribe you 800mg ibuprofen tabs for post-minor-surgery pain; if you've got some off-the-shelf stuff lying around, you can start at 400mg (which has worked with my toothaches before) and adjust as necessary (but not with alcohol).

I made one of my more random concoctions the other day at a friends house during a party. Malibu Banana and Citrus Cooler Gatorade. I bought the Malibu as it was on sale and my friend happened to have Gatorade handy. This is extremely fruity as you can probably imagine but mixes insanely well. My buddy and I agreed it would make a fantastic summer drink for the ladies, but I enjoyed it enough to finish the small bottle. I like pineapple flavor more so next time I'll probably try Malibu Pineapple. Certainly far from the manliest drink around, but it sure was tasty.

That would be my favorite drink a 50-50 blend of tequila and any Pilsner-style beer.

The other day my Girl asked me to make her a drink and unfortunately all I had was Jameson Irish whiskey and Diet Cherry Dr pepper. I drink my Jameson neat with a Beer back but she says she can't handle that yet so I mixed them together and to my surprise it was REALLY good! It tasted just like a Cherry Tootsie Pop! Don't get me wrong, I have NO intention of making that a regular drink because I don't like to dilude my Jameson but its a good way to get your Girl to start appreciating whiskey. Great Thread OP!

One time in college (why do all my stories that end like this start like that?), I had a KILLER toothache. I later found out that I had a horribly impacted wisdom tooth growing sideways into some nerve. Anyway, I'm howling in pain, walk into a friends house, and his disturbingly hot female friend hands me a bottle of cheap, CHEAP whiskey, with a happy wink and a "this helped when I had a tootchache." I was a **bit** of a drinker in those days, and tilted back the handle of booze for three HEALTHY swallows. Wiped my mouth, my eyes teared a bit due to pouring this rotgun down my **oh so refined** gullet. I went back to it for another healthy swallow or two, put the now significanlty lighter bottle down on the floor and popped my quickly getting sloppy behind on the couch. She looked at me in utter revulsion and said "I meant you should rub some on your gums."

Oh....ooops. Anyway. Cheap whiskey. Got 'er done alright. And the happy side note...after repulsing her and getting loaded on her booze...that young lady escorted me home that very evening.

I sometimes spike my water with fruit juice.

30 light beers + 1 liter of vodka + powdered fruit punch mix = best party drink ever

tastes like fruit punch with light carbonation and a very light beer after taste. very easy to drink.

Besides a good beer, I like the greyhound.

Can't go wrong with this one.

Tequila (Jose Cuervo Especial) and Redbull......It sounds bad, but tastes GOOD.....and it gives you wings!!!!

I really like bourbon and Diet Dr. Pepper. Could use one right about now, as a matter of fact.

Everclear and Orange juice is my favorite pain reliever. Works much better than ibuprofen.

Normally my laptop is on the dining room table, but our 13 year old daughter was insistent on watching one of her movies on the big screen in the living room and I just couldn't handle it, so I went downstairs in my workshop with said laptop, turned on the TV and flipped between UFC and Mythbusters, did a little yapping here in the Cafe and found myself asleep on the couch this morning. My wife came down on her way to work, woke me up and asked why I was on the couch. Fortunately, one of our 3 dogs was snuggled up next to me and all I could think of was "Casey looked like she needed cuddling so I sat down and must have fell asleep".



Well no shiznit I fell asleep. That bottle was nearly full last night. Guess I got a little to comfortable in my corner of the house. This is what I came down to this morning...

Man am I hung over.

For the record, I didn't do a lick of reloading last night either.

I remember my serious party days and mixing WOP's in 5 gallon buckets that tasted like something that came out of the south end of a neighborhood dog.

I would make drinks for my old roommate and her friends...Vanilla Smirnoff and orange soda. It tastes just like a dreamsicle! :huh: I also used root beer which tastes like a root beer float...its kinda like a diet root beer float...with a kick! :drunk:

TwinBlade, your little cubbyhole looks like mine (without the reloading equipment...that's all at my dads house!) Its great to have a little place to hide!
