im bored and using my imagination, so im going to start a discussion:thumbsup:
Ive been looking around since the quark line started for mods and tbh there aint been many, i know some people wont agree with what im about to say but.. how much work would it involve to have a sst-50 in a MiNi 123 and why has nobody done it yet ?:sssh: proberbly single mode direct driven ?

i love my mini but would love a second one on my keychain so i have a pocket rocket with me at all times just for showing off with

thanks jamie

The heat from a original xp-g mini on 4,2v rcr is to mutch for the small design. Imo putting something that produses more heat in the mini will not give that mutch exrta lumens, and it will burn your fingers in 30 sek.

RCR123A max safe current is 1.4A. SST-50 max current is 5A. :poof:
That is why there are no production 1*CR123A P7/MCE/SST50 lights being sold.

The Quark Regular and Tactical heads have been taken apart and those appear to be mod-able. I don't think anyone has taken a QMiNi apart, yet. Most people don't want to potentially destroy a $40 flashlight.
