I'm looking for a couple of white Everleds, but Brightguy's website says they won't be in stock until... November 1st? What gives?

I sent them email and awaiting a reply. But Brightguy has them for less... if they had them.

Last I heard the EverLeds were being redesigned to include reverse polarity protection and wouldn't be available for awhile.

Hmmph. When they DO put in RPP, THEN I MIGHT buy another. Great concept, lousy first execution!

Eh, for the public, yes. Flashaholics should be able to cope...I haven't had trouble with reversed polarity as I've been careful. I'd prefer no RPP to not being able to run down to a volt. I have a dorcy cool-blue (metal) I use with a 4Ah NiCd D cell that runs over 40 hours.
Mostly I just wish LED Supply would answer its email quicker. Like, in less than a month. I'm still waiting for a reply to one I sent July 17th!
