Have seen Niteshot tactical lights and looked at their uk website and it seems they are made by EDI-T. Has anyone had any experience with these? The specifications look very good.
Any experience with Niteshot or EDI-T?

Their EDC model has good design, but it will never reach 250 lumens on a Q5 LED, with a AA Nimh!

Can be used with a 18650 cell - surely that should push the CREE?

On the website www.niteshot.com the outputs listed with Q5 seems high?

How could a 1xAA light possibly be used with an 18650 lithium ion cell? Mathiashogevold above had commented on the EDC light which is specified as a 1xAA, not an 18650 compatible light at all. Still, the EDC's outward appearance is appealing.
If you look at the specs for all their lights, every one has the same claimed output on max of 250 lumen regardless of power source. Are all of these shipping today? Guessing not.

According to their europe website www.niteshot.eu both EDC models are powered with 1 18650 cell. I've emailed europe and all models are in stock. Think I'm going to give the MT20 a go.:twothumbs
