I've got a very nice Aleph 3 (HA nat) that at the moment has a Lux III driven at 1 amp in a reflector optimized for Lux III. It's got nice throw but I was thinking that this head needs a newer generation LED. I'm thinking XP-G but is it possible to get a reflector (or use the stock one) to get a good focus and even transition from spot to spill? It doesn't have to be an extreme thrower, just a nice high output with good reach for at least 1.5 hours in full regulation on a 17670 Li-Ion. Who would I want to contact for doing such a mod? BTW would it still be possible for a modder to get hold af the light engine components to do the mod?
What would you suggest?
