How is new Fenix LD01 R2 compared to LD01 SS?

Hello,
Has anybody compared the new Fenix LD01 R2 to the older version LD01 SS yet?
I did do a search on the website but could not find anything.
I am very curious to find out and would love to hear your comments!

did you read the reviews on light-reviews.com? On the website you can compare the two lights.

Query answered. BTW there are many many beamshots here on CPF comparing these two versions - the LD01 SS was only made with the earlier emitter.

Edit: A search for LD01 R2 provides many relevant threads.
