I see a post where the 2L bulb and the 4AA bulb are the same size but the 2L bulb is preset for more of a spot then the present 4AA.

4AA bulb is raised up...2L bulb sits low in the reflector.

2L has a spot and the 4AA is a flood.
What is cool, the assemblies can be swapped.

I use my UK 4AA strictly for a bright spot so if the 2L module will be tighter...I'm interested!

Hopefully someone here will know that answer pretty quick...however, you may drop "Brightguy.com" an email since he sells the bulbs?

there are no separate bulbs for uke4aa and 2L.
the lamps use the same bulb!

a cpf member reported that there are new bulbs and that these are more spot than the older ones.

and a raised up bulb will give out more a flood of light than a spot.

I don't know about the change, but if you order a lamp for the UK 4AA & one for the UK 2L, it'll be the same lamp. Sorta like buying a new lamp for a Mag C or D cell. Same lamp. TX
