Anybody ever put an SST-90 in a Jetbeam M1X? I know it would be underdriven but would it work? I get 1.2 amps with my meter coming from bare wires off the driver. I'm not looking for the high lumens the SST-90 is capable of, I just need a light in red and that seems to be the only one readily available. I have tried the Luxeon Rebel on a 3-up star and it has a Huge donut hole. Any thought or other suggestions would be greately appreciated.
Oh and im running the M1x on 2 AW 2600mah protected 18650's.
