First off, sorry for the slightly crypric subject line, I was just trying to insure that it didn't get cut off when somebody replies.

Just because I'm a Mac user doesn't mean I still get to deal with my fair share of Windows problems. Most recently my sister can't log onto her Windows 2000 machine. When she tries it says "The Doman SQUIRT is not available." SQUIRT is the Netbios name of her computer.

Help?

I think that's it Photon (Been googling for the past 20 minutes and yet to see that)

She was supposed to turn MSIE from 56-Bit encrypt to 128-Bit encrypt but maybe she turned the whole computer to 128-Bit?

Yup, that was it. Here's how my evening has been...

Post here
Try to boot from Windows CD to get to console
Won't boot...won't boot...won't boot
Call brother to see if he's going to be home.
Wait for dad to get home with vehicle (Transportation at this house is complicated)
Go to brothers house
Burn fresh windows CD (We have 5 licenses, it's kosher)
Computer locks
Reboot
Burn CD. 8x burner. Takes 28 minuites.
Come home
Won't boot...won't boot...won't boot
Try CD in other computer, comes up fine.
Rip 2 computers apart. Put HD from bad computer into good computer
Fix windows
Put 2 computers back together

Tell you what, I'm feeling especially Mac fanatical tonight...
