Fenix PD30R2 vs. Fenix LD20

I recently purchased a Streamlight 88031, but I have read reviews that say it is not as bright as advertised. It's my first flashlight so I have nothing to compare to.



There are so many choices, even within companies, I am having a hard time figuring out what to get. I came accross these two, they are the same price, $59 on amazon. I need to buy from Amazon because I have gift cards. Any advice is appreciated. I am looking for something that is compact like these and super bright.
