Rechargable battery question

Generally speaking, is it important to fully cycle the B90 battery in my new 8X or can I recharge it when it's only half discharged without causing a memory effect ala nicad cell phone batteries?

When the light starts to dim, recharge it. Don't overcharge and don't over-discharge it. Don't worry about the "memory effect."
