I cant decide... I like that the fusion36 is $25 shipped, but I cant find the true output of this drop in. The only info the ebay page provides is minimum 400 lumens? So whats this mean? Maybe more maybe not? Anyways, seems to be a great option for 25 bucks.

I guess the question is, is the TLE-300M EX that much better that it's worth paying more than double the cost of the fusion?

I would really like to do an SSC P7 upgrade, but I would need to find a better how to video than the one I've seen on youtube.

As far as batteries go, Ive noticed many guys using D sized adapters that hold 6 AAs in a 2D mag. I have a 4D mag, do they make a 12 AA D sized adapter for the bigger light? Ive also seen adapters made to accommodate CR123A lithium batteries. Is there a distinct advantage of one over the other?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is an awesome tutorial of a step by step of modding to a P7. This is a really nice mod that can be done affordably. The only issue I had was the 3 rechargable "D" batteries I used couldn't handle the amps so I cut my Mag down to a 1D and used a 26650 Li-Ion, now it is really nice.

The OP hasn't been back for five months, I don't think he is going to see your post.
